Using Lettra

Lettra is a daily word game, free to play. You may use it for your own personal, non-commercial enjoyment. You agree not to:

• Copy, resell, or redistribute the game or its puzzle content
• Scrape, bulk-download, or republish puzzles, answer lists, or categories
• Interfere with the game’s operation, or attempt to access it by any method other than the app and website we provide
• Use Lettra in any way that breaks the law

Lettra Unlimited

Lettra Unlimited is an optional paid upgrade that unlocks the puzzle archive and, in the Make Your Own mode, the ability to write your own topics and save them for reuse. The free version of the app is supported by ads; Lettra Unlimited removes them. It is offered as an auto-renewing subscription and as a one-time lifetime purchase.

Subscriptions are billed to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase and renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time in your Apple Account settings; cancelling stops the next renewal but does not refund the current period.

All purchases are handled by Apple, not by us. Refunds are at Apple’s discretion and governed by the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. We cannot issue refunds directly. Prices may vary by region and may change; any change applies only to future billing periods.

Your game data

Your progress, streak, and settings are stored on your device, not on our servers. We cannot recover them if you delete the app, lose your device, or clear your browser data. A lifetime purchase or active subscription can be restored through Apple using “Restore Purchases”, but your game history cannot.

Puzzle content

Lettra, its puzzles, categories, curated answer lists, artwork, and name are owned by us and protected by copyright. Playing the game does not transfer any ownership to you.

Answer lists are curated by hand and are necessarily incomplete. A word being rejected does not mean it is not a real word — only that it is not on that day’s list. Puzzle difficulty and content are our editorial judgement.

Availability

We aim to publish a new puzzle every day, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The game may be unavailable during maintenance, outages, or network problems, and we may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of it — including the archive — at any time. If we discontinue a paid feature entirely, we will give reasonable notice in the app.

Disclaimer and liability

Lettra is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the game will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that puzzle content will be free of mistakes.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Lettra, including lost game progress or lost streaks. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your statutory consumer rights.

Ending access

You may stop using Lettra at any time by deleting the app. We may suspend access if you materially breach these terms — for example, by scraping puzzle content or attempting to circumvent paid features.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the game develops. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed, and continuing to play after an update means you accept the revised terms.
